Before becoming a Congressman, I was a small business owner. With that background, I have a better understanding of the hardships small businesses go through when people out in Washington overregulate. It not only harms growth, but it stifles innovation. Long awarded the National Federation of Independent Business Guardian of Small Business Award (September 21, 2016)
