The 2001 Ms. Olympia contest 
is an IFBB professional bodybuilding competition and part of Joe Weider's Olympia Fitness & Performance Weekend 2001 was held on October 26, 2001, at the Mandalay Bay Arena in Paradise, Nevada. It was the 22nd Ms. Olympia competition held. Other events at the exhibition include the Mr. Olympia and Fitness Olympia contests.

== Notable Events ==
In one of the most surprising winners of the Ms. Olympia yet, Juliette Bergmann came from out of nowhere, from last competing over 12 years ago, to win the overall and lightweight Ms. Olympia titles.  Iris Kyle won the heavyweight Olympia title.
This was the only Ms. Olympia where the lightweight Olympia winner beat the heavyweight Olympia winner to win the overall title.
The two emcee of the 2001 Ms. Olympia was Tim Wilkins and Monica Brant.
The top three heavyweight and top three lightweight posedown song was Tom Sawyer by Rush.
The top heavyweight and top lightweight posedown song was It's My Life by Bon Jovi.
